Synopsis:

When Neverland Island is hit by an earthquake, the Lost Boys are forced out of the safety of their underground home. The earthquake also seems to have caused a change in the heretofore kindly behavior of the mermaids who are now attacking anyone (or anything) that dares to enter the water. Meanwhile, Captain Hook and the pirates have found a mysterious barrel--the contents of which they plan to use for his own nefarious schemes. Author Bio:

Dave Barry won the Pulitzer Prize for commentary in 1988. He is a prolific author of books showing the humorous side of everyday life, both original works and collections of his syndicated newspaper column. If Barry has a focus, one could say it is on people who own their own home (or who will eventually own their home when they finally pay off their mortgage). Barry wrote for his high school newspaper and his college newspaper. A graduate of Haverford College in 1969, Barry also plays the guitar. He was the inspiration for "Dave's World", a television show that was cancelled.
