Synopsis:

Bestselling author Mary Higgins Clark returns with another spine-tingling romantic thriller. Kay Lansing grew up the daughter of a groundskeeper at the palatial Carrington estate. Years later, she is reacquainted with the Carringtons when she approaches the young widower, Peter, about using the estate grounds for a charity event. Kay finds Peter mysterious but charming, and the two quickly fall in love. Their happiness is soon marred by the police, who are still fingering Peter for his deceased wife's drowning, as well as the death of his prom date from 20 years earlier. When Kay discovers Peter sleepwalks, she grows fearful that there is a dark side to him that she never knew. She must uncover the truth, before it is too late.
