After collecting rejection notices for several years, most people would likely surrender their dreams in frustration, but Baldacci decided to dive even deeper into his writing career by penning a novel, which eventually became the instant bestseller ABSOLUTE POWER. This remarkable debut showcases all of the literary stylings and plot elements that Baldacci has become best known for--sharply drawn characters testing their own morality as they become engaged in various levels of political intrigue.
