Diamond Dagger Award Winners

The British know their mysteries! After all, Great Britain is home to some of the greats, such as Agatha Christie, Sir Arthur Conan Doyle, and Dorothy L. Sayers. And one of the best ways to find a great audiobook mystery is to look to the Crime Writers Association of Great Britain. Since 1986, this mystery-loving group has honored some of the best crime writers with its highest honor: the Cartier Diamond Dagger Award for Lifetime Contributions.

To win this honor, these writers must have made a significant contribution to crime fiction published in the English language, whether originally or in translation. And their careers must be marked by sustained excellence. The award is made purely on merit, without reference to age, gender, or nationality.
