Audio Editions Books on Cassette and CD®, a major force in the rapidly growing spoken-word industry, is celebrating its 22nd year in business. The company headquarters was established in 1988, in the heart of the Gold Country — Auburn, California.

CEO Grady Hesters and Company President Linda Olsen, are pioneers in the field of audio publishing and have been in the business for 27 years. Grady and Linda typify the entrepreneurial spirit of today's audiobook industry. They are recognized as innovators who have played a vital role in establishing audiobooks as a viable retail product.

Our company was built, brick by brick, according to a blueprint for value. It has been crafted to please customers, vendors, investors, employees, and our community. The company now consists of 43 people with preferences as diverse as the titles we carry. We love to listen to audiobooks, and we love to share their opinions about them with everybody.

Our catalog is recognized as the largest, most current and comprehensive source of abridged and unabridged audiobooks available anywhere. Ranging from 48 to 132 pages, these four-color catalogs are mailed approximately every three weeks to known users of audiobooks. A special version of the catalog is sent to schools and libraries.

Inc. magazine has twice named Audio Editions to its list of the 500 Fastest Growing Companies. The Audio Editions catalog has been honored as the Best Catalog in its category by Catalog Age magazine.

Audio Editions is a veritable encyclopedia of audiobooks, with an active stock of more than 20,000 titles from over 100 publishers, and with approximately 150 new titles being added each month. We offer a full range of titles in all subject areas and formats: bestsellers, mysteries, poetry, science fiction, languages, classics, business, personal growth, classic radio programs, and humor (to name but a few).
