The 34th FIST has two serious problems. They must battle aliens whose savage attacks have devastated planet Kingdom. But the men of Kingdom need help: they're just a bunch of timid, quarrelsome guys. To thwart the aliens, the Marines must turn these men into warriors. It's an impossible job, but these are Marines.
