Editorial Reviews

Editorial Reviews

“Whitson is a wonderful author, and it’s a treat to read her post–Civil War novel. Her characters are quite memorable, and it’s a pleasure to watch them work their insecurities into positive attributes.” RT Book Reviews (4 stars)
“Whitson’s ambitious historical inspirational romance, set on America’s frontier in 1871, is a resounding success…Carefully researched details add color to this easy-to-read account, in which Whitson’s characters are boldly drawn and the setting neatly emphasizes their self-reliant natures.” Booklist (starred review)
