Dinosaur Homestead

Summary

From New York Times bestselling author Kevin J. Anderson comes Dinosaur Homestead. It’s like Little House on the Prairie … with dinosaurs.

A brontosaurus had wandered into the cornfields again, but that’s life on the farm for sixteen-year-old Eli Bontrager.

Or at least it has been ever since Eli’s Amish community left Ohio, following Bishop Troyer’s magical prayer for deliverance to an idyllic Eden. But the Cretaceous is hardly Eli’s idea of paradise: the plants are unfamiliar, the dragonflies are enormous, and the livestock keeps getting snatched up by predators like Tyrannosaurus Rex. Still, Eli has his family, his faith, a neighboring girl named Molly who wants to spend time with him, and the Ordnung—and that will have to be enough for now.

But Eli begins to suspect that there is more to this dinosaur homestead than meets the eye. When a terrible tragedy befalls one of their own, Eli resolves to take matters into his own hands. He sets out on his own rumspringa—only this journey won’t take him into the world of the Englischers, but rather into the heart of a deadly prehistoric paradise.
