Editorial Reviews

Editorial Reviews

“One of my favorite books.” John F. Kennedy
From Russia with Love is perhaps the most successful of the Bond series: Fleming has managed to blend excellent characterizations with a highly suspenseful and clever story. The detail is rich and colorful; and the novel contains purely romantic elements that are missing from most of the other books.” Raymond Benson, author of High Time to Kill
“Mr. Fleming’s tautest, most exciting, and most brilliant tale.” Times Literary Supplement
“Fleming brings a new precision to the business of intimate violence.” Guardian (London)
“The finest book in the Bond franchise.” Independent (London)
“Fleming is intensely observant, acutely literate, and can turn a cliché into a silk purse with astute alchemy.” New York Herald Tribune
