Thaler, winner of the 2017 Nobel Prize for Economics, is an American economist and the Ralph and Dorothy Keller Distinguished Service Professor of behavioral science and economics at the University of Chicago’s Booth School of Business. He is considered a pioneer in the fields of behavioral economics and finance. He is the author of numerous articles and books, including Nudge: Improving Decisions about Health, Wealth, and Happiness; The Winner’s Curse; Quasi Rational Economics; and Misbehaving: The Making of Behavioral Economics.
