Author Bio: Henry Sike
Heinrich Siecke (1668–1712), who Anglicised his name to Henry Sike, was a prominent “Orientalist.” He was was a gifted linguist, conversant with Turkish, Persian, Armenian, Arabic, Russian, and many Western languages.
