Editorial Reviews

Editorial Reviews

“Fleming has set his stamp on the story of action and intrigue…his proper place in literature is with those demi-giants of an earlier day: Jules Verne, Rider Haggard, Conan Doyle.” Kingsley Amis
“The Spy Who Loved Me stands alone as an enigma in the Bond series. It is a truly strange, experimental book for Ian Fleming, because the story is told in first person from the point of view of the heroine. The objective view of Bond here is very different and revealing.” Raymond Benson, author of High Time to Kill
“Ian Fleming keeps you riveted. His narrative pulls with the smooth power of Bond’s Thunderbird.” Sunday Telegraph (London)
